Cujo Control Dog Training Collar

Both of our dogs are trained pretty well. They understand sit, come, no, etc but we cannot have them off the leash because they will run. Their breed is of hunting dogs so they are just doing what they innately think they are supposed to do. Our worse nightmare is them running out of the front door and getting hit. For years we have discussed getting one of these collars but it seemed cruel. We quickly found out that not is it NOT cruel we feel like we might be saving our dogs lives. The other problem we have with them is the excessive barking; even with people that they see every day. I don’t mind the bark for when someone comes to the door but they literally bark like crazy if someone drives up our street. This is what we wanted to address. I don’t want them to stop, I just wanted to train them to know the difference. After using this collar for less than a day, one of my dogs seems to have quickly figured out when/how to bark according to the circumstances. I researched quite a bit on how to use the collar effectively so that it is not a negative effect, but positive. The range is strong and the collar is made of a great of great quality as well. FYI – before using it on the dog you will have it shock him so you would know the strength. I also asked my vet about it and she said as long as it is used correctly it could be a very good tool. Very happy with this collar and plan to use it on my other dog to train him as well.
