The River Kitchen Digital Meat Thermometer

I was so happy when I received this digital meat thermometer from River Kitchen. I have a really old fork type thermometer that takes forever to get a reading on. This one from River Kitchen is so fast it's amazing! It's very easy to use.

There is an on/off button in the middle and an option for Celsius or Fahrenheit.

I also like that it is 8" long so you don't have to get your hands too close to the heat.

I also like that it only leaves a very tiny hole when piercing the meat. My current fork one leaves two big holes and if I have to check a few different places in my meat, well it doesn't end up looking so nice!

My girlfriend and I grilled steak today and it was so easy to pierce the meat and get a reading. I couldn't believe how fast it was. My old one the meat would be starting to cool off by the time I got a temperature on it.

This thermometer is very easy to clean. I just did a quick swipe with some soap and hot water to clean off the probe part of it. Then dried it off and put it back into its cover.

I can't wait to use this on my chickens, turkeys, and roasts.
