The best Solid stainless steel ice cream scoop "SUMO Ice Cream Scoop"

You scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream! But, if you cannot scoop the ice cream out, then you are just plain out of luck. When you are craving ice cream, a scooper that works well is a must!

The Solid Stainless Steel Ice Cream Scoop by SUMO is one such scooper that gets your ice cream dished up without any problem.

Now, ice cream that's soft isn't hard to scoop, but the real challenge is when you get the super frozen stuff. I've bent more than one spoon in there! The SUMO scoops just cuts right in and it works fantastically.

This stainless steel ice cream scoop with a rubber blue handle is very comfortable to hold and use while not being too heavy even though it feels very solid. The rubber is made of thermoplastic elastomer rubber and is BPA free, so no worries about contaminating your ice cream. I have not experienced any issues with gripping the scoop; no sliding or losing control.

One nice feature that is unlike any scoop I have used before is the cylindrical tip which allows for easier scooping of solid ice cream and I do not have to let the ice cream sit out on the counter to soften as I usually do with my other scoops.

Cleaning is no problem, just use the scoop and then put it in the dishwasher. So far, after a few uses and washes, the scoop still looks like new.

SUMO offers a lifetime guarantee and states that they will replace the scoop if you ever experience any issues.

Gigue CH03 Universal Cell Phone Car Holder with Dual USB ports Review + Giveaway

I was so happy when I received the Gigue GH03 Universal Car Phone Holder with Dual USB Ports. I know many others are probably in a similar situation to mine and that their cars do not have enough places to plug things in. This is so true for my family of six. This car mount holder offers not only a place to put your phone while driving but it also offer a place to plug additional devices.

This car phone holder, because it offers additional outlets, is really different than any others I have seen before. It offers you a place to put the holder besides the dash or the windshield as well as 3 ports. It has two 2A USB ports and one 5V port. This is very nice because it gives me additional places to plug in the many devices we carry with us when we travel. The holder itself really caters to the person using it. The head of the holder turns 360 degrees and swivels while the arm is flexible and bends. This allows you to really position the car mount in any direction you need it to best suit your needs. I like this because I can really fit it for me and my husband can fit it for him when he drives. The car phone holder comes with a short micro USB cable to use. I found that the way I have my phone positioned that this cord is a little too short to reach so I just use another micro USB cable I already had.

Inserting your phone in the car holder is very easy. On the back of the holder is a red switch to lock and unlock it. Put it in the unlock mode, and then press the button above the switch. This will release the arms on the sides that hold the phone so that you can now place your phone in it. Once you have your phone it, just squeeze the sides back together until the phone is snug. The sides have padding so it will squeeze your phone nicely but will not hurt your phone. Once you have your phone snugly in the holder, then you change the switch on the back to lock and the phone is secure. You will then position the holder, however, you like.

I like the flexibility this car phone holder offers. I also like that it does not sit up on the dash or windshield. It is really out of my line of site when driving. In California, it against the law to use a cell phone while driving a vehicle. You can't even have it in your hand at all. I use my phone in the car for listening to music, audio books and GPS. I set these before I start driving and then use the car mount holder to have my phone where I can still hear it. Where this car holder places my phone is perfect because I can still hear it well and it's secured and won't go flying across the car.

If you are looking for a car mount and do not want one that sticks up on your dash or window, but is more out of your way and offers additional ports to plug things in, then this is the car mount for you. This one really offers flexibility and convenience.

The River Kitchen Digital Meat Thermometer

I was so happy when I received this digital meat thermometer from River Kitchen. I have a really old fork type thermometer that takes forever to get a reading on. This one from River Kitchen is so fast it's amazing! It's very easy to use.

There is an on/off button in the middle and an option for Celsius or Fahrenheit.

I also like that it is 8" long so you don't have to get your hands too close to the heat.

I also like that it only leaves a very tiny hole when piercing the meat. My current fork one leaves two big holes and if I have to check a few different places in my meat, well it doesn't end up looking so nice!

My girlfriend and I grilled steak today and it was so easy to pierce the meat and get a reading. I couldn't believe how fast it was. My old one the meat would be starting to cool off by the time I got a temperature on it.

This thermometer is very easy to clean. I just did a quick swipe with some soap and hot water to clean off the probe part of it. Then dried it off and put it back into its cover.

I can't wait to use this on my chickens, turkeys, and roasts.

Product Details
